Effective Date: August 23, 2026
1. Introduction
Bowman Community Empowerment and Restoration Outreach (B.C.E.R.O.) respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website. This Privacy Policy describes the information collected through the website, how that information is used, and the choices available to visitors.
2. Information We Collect

- Name

The website may also collect basic technical information required for security and website operation, such as IP address, browser type, device type, access time, and pages visited.
3. How Information Is Used
- Respond to inquiries
- Coordinate volunteer, partnership, and sponsorship interest
- Share requested program or event information
- Verify donations before allowing donor-note submissions
- Moderate, publish, or remove donor notes
- Issue, email, correct, and retain charitable donation receipts
- Operate and secure the website
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- Improve website accessibility and performance

4. Donations and Cash App
Donations are processed through Cash App at https://cash.app/$BCERO26. The B.C.E.R.O. website does not directly collect or store Cash App passwords, PINs, bank-account numbers, or card information.
Cash App has its own privacy practices and terms, and you should review them before completing a transaction. A donor-verification request submitted on this website is separate from Cash App's payment process. B.C.E.R.O. may use the transaction details you submit only to locate and verify your donation.
5. Donor Notes
- Only verified donors may submit a note.
- Notes are reviewed by B.C.E.R.O. before publication.
- Donors may publish using a display name they choose or as "Anonymous Supporter."
- The display name selected for publication, the approved note, and its publication date may be publicly visible.
- Email addresses, Cash App information, donation amounts, and verification details are never displayed publicly.
- B.C.E.R.O. may reject or remove notes that violate the community guidelines shown on the donation page.
- Donors may use their secure management link to delete their own note.
6. Donation Receipts
When an administrator verifies a donation, B.C.E.R.O. may issue a written charitable donation acknowledgment and receipt. Receipt records include the donor name provided for the receipt, the donor email address, the verified donation amount and date, the Cash App handle the donation was sent to, any designation you noted, a unique receipt number, and the date the receipt was issued and emailed.
- Receipt records and receipt PDF files are confidential. They are never published on the website and are accessible only to authorized administrators.
- A copy of each receipt is emailed to the donor and to the B.C.E.R.O. records address at bceoutreach@gmail.com for bookkeeping.
- Your personal receipt is reached through a secure single-use link. That link expires and is replaced whenever a corrected receipt is issued.
- Receipt information is used only to acknowledge your gift, maintain donation records, and answer your questions about a receipt. It is never sold or used for marketing.
- If a receipt contains an administrative error, it is voided and a corrected replacement receipt with a new number is issued and emailed to you.
7. Information Sharing
B.C.E.R.O. does not sell or rent visitors' personal information. Information may be shared only with the service providers needed to operate this website, process communications, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Cookies and Analytics
This website does not run advertising or third-party marketing trackers. It does use browser storage and cookies that are necessary for the site to function and stay secure: an authenticated session for staff who sign in to the administrator area, single-use tokens that allow a verified donor to submit or manage their own note or to open their own donation receipt, and the technical storage used by the hosting platform to deliver and protect the site.
9. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for website security and recordkeeping, or for legal compliance.
Donation receipts and their related verification records are an exception: they are charitable-giving bookkeeping records and are retained for at least seven years so that B.C.E.R.O. can meet nonprofit recordkeeping and reporting obligations. Because a receipt is a financial record, a voided or corrected receipt is preserved alongside its replacement rather than deleted.
10. Data Security
B.C.E.R.O. uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted through this website. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children's Privacy
This website is not intended to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian consent, and it does not create public accounts for children. If you believe a child has submitted information, email bceoutreach@gmail.com so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
12. External Links
This website links to third-party services, including Cash App at https://cash.app/$BCERO26 and Facebook at Bowman Bcero on Facebook. B.C.E.R.O. is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services.
13. Privacy Choices
You may email bceoutreach@gmail.com to:
- Ask questions about information you submitted
- Correct information you submitted
- Request deletion of information where appropriate
- Withdraw a volunteer, partnership, or sponsorship inquiry
- Request removal of your donor note
- Request a corrected copy of a donation receipt
Some records may need to be retained for security, recordkeeping, or legal reasons, so deletion cannot be guaranteed in every case.
14. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When material revisions are made, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated.
